Owner/Broker Art Swisher first came to Alaska on vacation with his family thirty-
five years ago, and Alaska has been his home ever since. At age fourteen, Art started
commercial fishing all around the state and also working in the family construction
business. After having his own successful contracting business he transitioned into the
real estate profession, eventually becoming the broker and owner of Coastal Realty
Homer. Art’s passion for hiking, hunting, fishing, and traveling around this great state
translates into his determination to help clients find their own perfect piece of Alaska.

Associate Broker Ken Swisher has called Alaska home for the past thirty-four years. An avid
outdoorsman, Ken enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and just getting out into the beautiful
scenery that surrounds him every day. After owning and operating his own construction
business for eighteen years, Ken became interested in pursuing a career in the real estate
profession. Ken’s many years of experience as a contractor give him valuable knowledge
that he passes along to his clients when assisting them with their real estate needs.
